Hi all,

   Here are the corrected minutes.

12/14/13

The meeting was called to order at 1:30 PM after we had eaten our fill of
pizza and all types of other good food. People present were Janis, Diane,
Linda, Cody, Marty, Melissa, Pam, Bill, Rita and John. The paypal account
for the chapter is half set up. Linda doesn't have our bank account info
tied to it. It is set up using nfb-greeley at nfbnet.org. Linda has her own
password. This will make it easier to take credit cards for candy bar
sales. We have a few orders for candy bars off of the Colorado Talk list.
People have ordered from Longmont, Denver, and Littleton. We will endeavour
to get them shipped out by this next week Melissa will let Linda know when
she begins having people pay so that she can make sure the Paypal account is
working. Linda will try to set up the account by Monday. Pam asked about
buying some candy bars and Melissa will take her order soon. Melissa will
also continue to coordinate this project. Cody then turned in the $30 that
he had from the candy bar sales. Jessica still has $32 from the sale of our
water bottles that she needs to pay the chapter. We then moved to a
discussion of potential topics we would like to begin with in January for
our tech training sessions. Linda suggested training on windows 7 and also
suggested that we do a topic on Zoomtext. The Iphone was also suggested as a
topic. I suggested waiting until February to have an Iphone seminar so that
teachers and other interested parties had time to gather student's questions
or to see about bringing their students. In January, we will do a windows 7
seminar. In March, we decided to do something related to home management and
to see whether Becky or Garret from DVR would be willing to come up and help
teach this from the perspective of a rehab teacher. Cody announced that he
would get those people's names to Lisa who wanted to go to Washington
Seminar, however, it doesn't look like anyone from our chapter will be going
this year. The next meeting will be on January 18, 2014 at 12:00 PM at the
Senior Center. Our meeting adjourned at 1:45 PM.

Respectfully submitted,

Marty Rahn,
Secretary,
National Federation of The Blind of Colorado (Greeley Chapter)
