We are sad to announce that Executive Director Beth Danielson is retiring at the end of September. We appreciate her 18 years of service, and we will miss her. The search for her successor is in progress now.

“The Disability Visibility Project aims to diverse voices of people in the disability community and preserve their history for all, especially underrepresented groups such as people of color and LGBTQIA people with disabilities.

Until December 2015, people with disabilities are encouraged to record their story in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Having these stories archived and available to the public will preserve disability history, making them accessible to all.”

New Therapeutic Yoga Instructor at Greeley Rec Center!
Tandra Kirkpatrick is a certified yoga teacher with more than 500 hours of training with and assisting Master Instructor Tias Little.  She has worked in the health and fitness field for 15 years and is experienced in helping people with a variety of health challenges.  Tandra uses props and hands-on adjustments to help each individual adapt yoga poses to suit his or her body.

A class to help you get to know your job skills and take an inventory of yourself. Employment guidance and resume help will be provided on a personal level. Our Deaf Services Coordinator will be present to provide ASL interpreting.
