Greeley Chapter Meeting
1-9-2016
Location: Lincoln Park Library

Call To Order at 12:06
Members In Attendance: Cody, Melissa, Dora, JJ

Minutes for October and November: Approved

Treasurer's Report: $376.91. (Same as November.) 

Fund Raising
Cafe Mexicali: Cody will talk to Gordon Harkness. We'll shoot for a weekend in March, and a weekend in September. Tentatively the weekends of March 18 and September 16. 
  Melissa will write to Lorinda to check about the NFB logo. 

Luncheon
May 21st (or June 4th) from 12:00-3:00 at Centennial Park Library. 
JJ will contact Annie about catering and see which date works for her. We will shoot for 30 plates. Our goal is to advertise for longer, so that we can get more RSVP and accurate count of guests. 
Regarding rooms, Cody will check on Centennial Park Library, and JJ will check at Bonell for an alternative location. 

Joint Social Event with the Fort Collins-Loveland Chapter
Possibly bowling at the Summit in Loveland. 
Dora and JJ will check about doing a tandem bike ride. 
We'll shoot for April, June, or after National Convention in July. 
We could also do something in Sentara. 
We're also thinking about doing a social event for Greeley. We will discuss this further later. 

Day At The Capital
Thursday, January 14 from 8 to noon. 
Issues: getting more money for Newsline, the bill for tax credit for employees who buy assistive technology, and increasing opportunities in the BEP program. 
It doesn't sound like anyone from the Greeley chapter can make it. 

State Updates
There is a state board meeting at CCB on Saturday, the 16th at 11:00. 
Richard Rebito will be presenting to us about Non-24 Sleep Disorder on March 19. 
There's a One-Touch Self Defense training in Greeley in April. Melissa will forward the email to the Greeley list.
