Federation of the Blind, a leading champion for Braille, is excited to
announce the Braille Symposium, which will provide professionals, blind
people, and other interested parties with an opportunity to learn about and
discuss promising practices in Braille instruction and teacher preparation in
Braille. The symposium will feature sessions in three formats: vignettes from
blind people on how Braille is being used today, presentation/discussion
sessions on promising practices, and problem solution
sessions.<BR> <BR>Speakers will include leading experts who will discuss
the most innovative work that is being done on Braille today. Presentation

teaching the Braille code efficiently and
effectively<BR>· providing high quality
Braille instruction to blind adults<BR>·
