Hey Maurice, I believe the ham meeting is in the same room as the ambassadors meeting, so I think we are good with that one

Hello all, I will be there until about five or 10 of eight. Then I must walk to the ambassadors meeting. I have invited David to speak briefly to lead division as we make our final plans for convention in a public meeting on zoom scheduled on the 22nd. At 2200 UTC. I know it is field day but we have no other day to do it because that was the only day that people were available to discuss final preparations for national convention. All of course are invited. The only thing I ask is that if you come please come a few minutes early since there are people who Will be on the zoom call who use American sign language video interpretation and so we need the extra time to ensure that the interpreters can see the paper that they are interpreting for. Plus a brief courtesy meeting note if you come please be prepared to state your name and if applicable your call sign when speaking on the call. Since I am sharing the meeting this will be helpful for me to know who you are.

73 I look forward to seeing all of you around the convention

Amateur call sign kd0iko.

Maurice A. Mines.

President National Federation of the blind deaf blind division.

Hello David,

Thanks for scheduling the ham meeting on Wednesday July 3 2024 at 7:15 am.

I will be there along with my wife, Catherine who is also a ham.

Her call sign is KB3WBO.

I recommend using the simplex frequency 147.480

Alternately we could use 146.490

The first frequency seems to be less prone to interference to hotel systems.

FYI the morning meeting had now been added back to the agenda:

*7:15 - 8:00 a.m. Amateur Radio Division—Emergency Preparedness

Salon 8

Discuss convention frequencies, hotel architectural features, and distribution of special FM receivers for our hard-of-hearing and Spanish-speaking attendees.

Hope to see you all there!!
