1. April 17, 2010 Lions Picnic for the Blind and Visually Impaired from 10-3
at Manawalea Riding Center (41-170 A Waikupanaha St.). It includes
horseback riding (covered shoes and long pants required), ono ranch style
lunch, games, prizes, country western talent contest and western themed
costume contest. Those who are interested please call Ho`opono at 586-5269
by April 7. Transportation provided, be at Ho`opono (1901 Bachelot St.) by
9:00am and it will return by 3:30pm.
2. April 25, 2010 Ho`opono 75th Anniversary Fundraiser. The Hawaii New
Visions Association is inviting everyone to celebrate Ho`opono's 75th
Anniversary. It will be at Ige's 19th Restaurant & 19th Puka (98-761 Oihana
St. Aiea, HI 97601) from 3-8pm. The cost is $20 which includes heavy pupus,
soft drinks, coffee and tea. There will also be no host cocktails
avaliable. Also, there will be entertainment, door prizes, raffles,
dancing. The proceeds will go to the New Visions Program. If you have any
