Want to be able to pick up your medication bottle and read the number of
refills without asking someone?  How about reading the cooking instructions
for a recipe you are planning to cook today?  If you are blind or visually
impaired, these are just a couple of great things you can use the PenFriend
Labeling System for!

 

Eye of the Pacific Guide Dogs Foundation is pleased to announce that this
year's electronic aid being allocated on October 20, 2011 will be the
PenFriend Labeling System!

 

Applications are available online at www.eyeofthepacific.org.  Click on "
this year's Electronic Aid Project" for more information about the PenFriend
Labeling System or to apply.

 

If you are legally blind, a resident of Hawaii and over the age of 10, you
are invited to apply for this easy to use device.  

 

Interested individuals are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as there
are only a limited number that will be allocated.

 

Application deadline is midnight of August 31, 2011.
