The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.

Subject: The Bus and Handi Van
Below is from the Star Advertiser regarding The Bus and Handi Van canceling
services on Friday due to Hurricane Iselle.
TheBus and Handi-Van will not be in service Friday for the safety of drivers
and passengers due to the approaching storms, according to a city spokesman.
Spokesman Jesse Broder-Van Dyke said TheBus will stop service at the end of
the day Thursday.
Starting at 10 p.m. Thursday, TheBus will operate as a shuttle service to
provide free rides to passengers on Oahu who plan to evacuate to hurricane
shelters. The city will soon release the designated routes for the shuttle
service.
