The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.

Subject: NFB Newsline Presentation at Ho`opono

Ho`opono is pleased to host Scott White, NFB Newsline Director, on Friday
September 12 from 9-11 AM in the Ho`opono auditorium. Mr. White will be
here to present information about Newsline and also to do demos. He will
make himself available after the presentation to speak with any interested
individuals.

This presentation is for anyone currently using Newsline, as well as those
who are interested in finding out more information about it. Newsline is a
free service for those who are print impaired (blind or physically disabled
and unable to turn pages in a book, for example). Through Newsline, a wide
variety of newspapers, magazines and other reading materials can be accessed
on your computer, telephone or smart phone. Thanks!
