Subject: Call for Comments to Preserve Randolph Sheppard

The DOD (Department of Defense) has adopted some draft rules from Ability One/Source America which would effectively block Randolph Sheppard blind vendors from troop dining contracts. If DOD can block RS, then other Federal agencies will eventually be able to block RS blin vendors. 

The NABM (National Association of Blind Merchants) has set up a website for interested parties, and blind persons to make comments to the Federal Register to try to block these negative rule changes. The deadline is August 5, 2016.

 

Please go on to the website and place our comments to help preserve Randolph Sheppard.

If you cannot go on-line, then use the attached forms to authorize a comment on your behalf.
