Passing along a message from Sharon Ige, who is a one of the few blind Lions
members in Hawaii, heading a new committee in District 50 Lions.  

 

Calling all the Blind and Visually Impaired.

 

We need your feedback!

A new committee "Knights of the Blind" was formed by Lions District Governor
Nadine Nishioka to find out how the Lions can help the blind in a more
consistent and practical way.

The Lions have always been awesome about inviting us to a picnic, luncheon
or dinner but is there a need that can be met to really impact our lives?

A need may also be a longer project in the community such as audio
describing an event or making things more accessible to us.

 

We are having a meeting to gather info:
