Subject: Another Reminder...Lions Walk for Vision & Hearing

 

The District 50 Lions are putting on a walk on Saturday March 9 at Ala Moana
Beach Park- Magic Island.  Check in starts at 7am and the walk begins at
9am.  This year's walk is to raise funds for the Hawaii Lions Foundation
specifically for visions and hearing projects.  The walk is $30 for adults
and $20 for youth under 18.

 

The Lions would like as many blind and visually impaired walkers as
possible.  You don't have to pay to participate and they have bentos for the
blind and visually impaired walkers.  Please let me know by February 28 if
you are participating and would like a bento for after the walk.  

 

Let's support the Lions as they have done so much for the blind and visually
impaired community in Hawaii through their events, monetary donations,
vision screenings and so many other service projects.
