This book seeks to tell of Mary Ingalls and her first few weeks at the College for the Blind in Vinton, Iowa. The book is fiction, but some of the characters did exist. The author apparently drew from archival material to construct her story. She does have Mary learning six dot braille. I have read that Mary learned New York Point braille. The book is available on BookShare. Have a great day. Regards, Robert -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I have read about the Ingalls family a bit, and may have read one Little House book awhile back.
