Brett Winchester found out that he fractured some vertebrae in his back while lifting a mattress and box springs in March and today he’s going in for back surgery.  Luckily, it will be performed with a local anesthetic and is a procedure where liquid bone will be injected in the fractured vertebrae through a small incision.  There is a 90% success rate for the procedure, so he is very hopeful.  He’s been in quite a bit of pain since March and has had trouble walking, so this will be a welcome relief.  Otherwise, his newest medications are working well and he’s feeling better than he has for months.  He has vacations and fishing trips planned for June.
