[Nfb-idaho] 3.3 Million dollars returned - Update

Good morning, I have an update:
Rehabilitation funds,
Returned by Michael Graham, IDVR, within the past year
 to be redistributed to OTHER states
in excess of $3.3 Million . . . !
not to mention the nearly $7 million in overages during the past five years
In a meeting with the Governor’s office, and the ICBVI administrator Michael said he returned funds because “I can”, before rudely departing. (as reported to us by the governors’ aid)
Thurs.11-18-10  NFB-ID had an impromptu meeting with the Governors Office, who reported  the receipt of many letters supporting our position. THANKS, Keep the letters coming!  We can still send faxes, emails, letters, etc. 
Those funds should stay in Idaho to rehab the blind or vets, etc.
The meeting attended by our members, Jan Gawith, Gus Tropea, and myself resulted in a commitment to continue looking at this issue, resolving it and the federal rehab funds percentage split, (they’re not sure how it will look quite yet), and reporting back to me early next week!  Great work everyone!  Our ally and friendly administrator, Angela Jones is continuing to provide key documentation to the State.  Our new Central Idaho Chapter has been circulating a petition to send to the Governor.
