Bill Morgan here.
I thought I had my Pac Mate sold, but had an email message today with the person saying they couldn't do it after all.
I am asking 1300 for this unit.
I was told by Freedom that with all the stuff and features on this unit, that if I were to start over and build it myself there is somewhere around $6000 worth of everything, in the whole unit.
I have had it for almost two years, and have not been able to use it because of on going illnesses.
I kept it covered, and plugged in when not trying to figure it out.
I had it checked out by Freedom Scientific and they said it was in great shape.
I also had it insured against failure for a year, but since I wasn't doing anything with it, I took the insurance off it.
The insurance isn't transferable anyway.
If you desire to insure this unit with Freedom than it will pass inspection so you could do so.
If you don't know, this is a Braille Laptop computer.
It also has a very nice soft shoulder carrying case with two zipper pockets.
I can not use it, because of the screwed up memory from all my medical treatments It has the latest upgrade software package there is for the Pac Mate.
It is called 6.5.
It has a Braille keyboard, and a 40 character reading display.
It will take two memory cards, has Y-FY, plus the ability to run your computer in your home from anywhere in or around your home such as the front porch or hum! the bathtub.
It has a charging unit, excellent battery, many more features I can't name because I don't remember what they ar.
There is also a Braille booklet of all the commands, and complete instructions on the memory cards as well.
If your truly serious about one of these babies please contact me, and lets make it happen.

I am also going to advertise this on Ziegler, and Blind Bargains as well.
Christmas is coming.
This would make a real nice gift for yourself or that special person.
One more thought, if your looking to get one of these through the Blind Commission your counselor may want to know about this unit and its price.

Contact between the hours of 11 a.m. and 9.p.m.
phone is, 208-377-3916.
