[Nfb-idaho] 2016 convention

Both my computer and I have now recovered from convention. It was wonderful
as usual. Especially, there were a lot of young blind people on the program
who have done excellent things.

We should start figuring out how to raise enough money to help more people
go next year.

Marian Grimmett Hodges and Dan Hodges were there. Dan said: I have been
wanting to go to convention for 14 years, and I had high expectations. But
this was better than I expected!

I saw the new BrailleNote touch; got copies of two of the Oscar and Kloaus
books about the blind cat that leads his friend Klaus, a sighted cat, into
adventures (real cats); met new people; talked to old friends; ate too much;
slept too little; learned a lot about social media; went to an excellent
concert by blind country singers and writers; and wished I could have been
in more places I didn't have time for. This was my fiftieth convention, and
I am not even close to getting bored! I just thought some of you might like
to hear a little about it, but others may wish to add their thoughts.
