[Nfb-idaho] Jernigan raffle tickets for sale

As many on this list know, the Jernigan fund provides convention
scholarships each year so that people interested in attending the national
convention for the first time can get some financial assistance. We have a
Jernigan scholarship winner this year and had one last year. These
scholarships are funded through the sale of raffle tickets. The winner will
win a fully paid trip to the 2017 national convention. I have these tickets
to sell. If you are interested, please let me know and I will send you your
tickets. A check for $10.00 per ticket should be made out to the National
Federation of the Blind and sent to me so I can turn in the money at
convention. If your chapter sells the winning ticket, that chapter will
receive $500.00. I am sending this note to chapter presidents in case it
doesn't get on the listserv. I have been having trouble with my email
getting to the listserv. Please let everyone know about the tickets. This is
a good opportunity to help people get to our convention and learn how they
can live the lives they want.
