This is how I have read for years, starting out with the Braille Lite in
1996. I used to proof documents before embossing, and could do it on the go
with my girls when taking them to school, or proofing while they were busy
in an indoor play park when older. I agree, one can get quite proficient
with the electronic display, and love the portability.

I have been having a lot of fun reading on my Braillenote. I thought I liked
reading hard copy braille better than reading on the Braillenote, but I am
changing my mind. I read for my entire plane trip to and from Washington
D.C. I feel I read faster and focus better with the electronic braille
display. It's very relaxing. I hope to learn how to download braille books
on BARD by this time next year. If you have an electronic device with a
braille display, try reading a book on it. You may be surprised.
