I am currently planning two technology classes during the convention. One of
them will be introduction to the iPhone. My plan would be to have
experienced iPhone users work either 1 on 1 or 1 to 2 with people who are
interested in trying the iPhone. The instructors would obviously need to
have an iPhone and be able to demonstrate and let a person try the commands
like taps and flicks etc. This class would be Friday afternoon. I have also
planned a class which is Introduction to social media. I would like the
teacher to show how you get on social media either using an I device or
computer, and what you do once you have signed on and created an account.
How do you "like" a page? How do you post? This is scheduled for Saturday
during part of the lunch break. If anyone is interested in helping, let me
know. I'm also open to other suggestions for class ideas, although we don't
want so many that people don't see the exhibits. Thanks for your input.
