Hello,

 

It's time to start planning for the National Federation of the Blind of
Idaho convention.  This year it will be held in Twin Falls at the Red Lion
Canyon Springs Hotel on Blue Lakes.  There will be a reception on the
evening of April 26th with meetings all day Friday and Saturday.  Convention
will adjourn at the end of the Banquet Saturday night. 

 

You can start reserving your room now. The deadline for reservations is
April 1st.  The room rates are $81.00 per night plus an .8 percent tax. I
just made my reservations and did not have to put a deposit down. Keep in
mind that the banquet usually runs until at least 10 p.m. so you will
probably want to stay at the hotel that night and leave the next morning. 

 

Our national rep this year is Joe Ruffalo, National Board member and
President of the New Jersey affiliate.  The convention planning committee
has been working with President Dana Ard for several months and are excited
on how the agenda is coming together.  I hope that all of you can be there.
