My son-in-law set mine up. I don't think it would take much. Jeff set both
mine up in probably 30 minutes.

How cool is that! How hard was it to set up the amazon echo? Mike has been
hesitant for me to get one because of concerns about setting it up.

I am copying something that I saw on the chapter-president's listserv.  The
way it is described did not work for me but this is what I did to get the
presidents release on my amazon echo.  I told Alexa to play the nation's
blind podcast presidential release. This worked and then I got the Braille
Monitor the same way.  Try it if you have an echo.

You're right, I forgot to say that I asked her to open Anypod.

I just tested it, and you can ask her to either play or open National
Federation of the Blind Presidential Release Podcast, because if I ask her
without using the word podcast, she won't do it.  If I ask her using the
word "the" before National Federation .", she won't do it.  If I ask her to
open or play National Federation of the Blind Presidential Release Spanish
podcast, she will.  You can't pause long in that long string of words or she
won't get it.  She should say something like "getting the latest episode of
National Federation of the Blind Presidential Release Podcast, English.
Here it is from Tune-In."  Maybe you have to have Tune-In enabled in order
to get it to work.  I have Amazon unlimited music and that also might be a
factor.  Joy

Just ask Alexa to play the National Federation of the Blind Presidential
Release podcast.  For me, she will play the latest one in English.  I think
you can also ask for it in Spanish.

I tried it through Anypod and it was playing an English and a Spanish
version together simultaneously.  That's how I found out how not to do it.
