Good Afternoon,

I want to thank you for your time talking to me over the phone just a moment ago. I want to further our conversation about an event that I am assisting in hosting for child sexual abuse prevention. It is the 2nd Annual Community Outreach Conference that Building Hope Today will be hosting on April 9th from 6:30-9pm at the Boise Center. 

 

I am attaching the flyer for this event to this email as well as a letter composed by our founders and staff to help illuminate our goals and desires. Child sexual abuse is an epidemic in our communities. Many organizations that work with children, families, and our communities may have an understanding of how child sexual abuse is one of the most serious health problems in our country. While understanding the problem is a necessary first step, we need to move forward to finding solutions, helping survivors, and improving our legal system. 

 

We are inviting all of those in our community to join us on the evening of April 9th to discuss our charter and what accomplishments we have made. It would be wonderful to have anyone from National Federation of the Blind of Idaho in attendance. You can have a table of 8 or more at no cost. Our goal is to have as many partners for building hope-filled tomorrows join us at this event. 

 

I would love to discuss with you the possibility of the National Federation of the Blind of Idaho's involvement and attendance at the conference. We would be able to provide you with as many tables of 8 as you could fill at no cost.
