Her service will be at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church 2206 N. Cole Rd. in
Boise, on Wednesday at 1:30. There will be a grave side service at Dry Creek
cemetery

Following the service. I have known Dianne since 1982 when she was one of my
first clients when I lived and worked in the ICBVI Lewiston office. She was
a great advocate for students with disabilities at the University of Idaho.
In 2000, she got me George T. Warren scholarship funds to help pay for a
tutor for statistics which I had to complete for my graduate degree. My
degree was through U. of I., but the class was through BSU, and at first,
the BSU disability services office refused to help me with funding the
tutor. After Dianne stepped in and got me the funding, BSU agreed to provide
partial assistance. She will be greatly missed.

"The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
Blindness is not what holds you back."
