First, our banquet will be prime rib with mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls
(you can ask for gluten free because they have them) and cheesecake. The
Friday night dinner will be Italian, but I need to check about the gluten
free option. We are having a shortage of double queen rooms in our block.
The original request was put in wrong and I didn't know. If you can manage
with a king room, and haven't booked your room yet, please request the king.
Everyone who wanted queens so far has them. There may be more queen rooms in
the Holiday Inn Express, so we may have to use those. Like I said, if you
can manage with a king, do it that way. I have already booked the
scholarship winner rooms and they are double queens. There will be free
coffee in the lobby at least until noon. If the temperature outside is warm,
they don't refresh the coffee for as long as they do if it is cold outside.
The general session room will be in rounds. Someone from the Recreation and
discovery workshop committee needs to decide how those rooms should be
arranged. The small room for parents can sit up to 15 with tables. If they
are doing writing, they will probably need tables. We can't move furniture
out of hospitality or daycare suite because they don't have storage for it.
Let me know if you have questions and share this information with people who
need to know. Thanks.

"The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
Blindness is not what holds you back."
