I am very excited to present to your group this evening. Here is a rough
outline of the topics I will be covering:

 

1.       Introduction

2.       Overview of DRI (what we do, what the protection and advocacy
system is)

3.       Applicable laws related to voting accessibility

4.       Idaho election changes due to COVID

5.       DRI's actions, response to these election changes (including filing
of a DOJ complaint)

6.       Outreach and Collaborations that DRI has done in regards to voting
accessibility in 2020

7.       Next steps, Voter Tips, Questions? 

 

I hope audience members feel comfortable sharing their voting experiences -
what works, doesn't work - if a county clerk is doing it right or doing it
all wrong and what their concerns are for the fall elections. DRI could use
that feedback as we plan for what to do for our next steps on this topic. I
have an hour planned to cover all of this information and questions. 

 

Again, I will be logging into Zoom under a different name/account - an
account for Laura Kling - so just keep that in mind if you don't see my
actual name in the conversation.
