I too have used Zoom the past few years in several business conferences
and trainings. It is a good and versatile platform.
On a sidenote, I understand that their stock has risen quite substantially
since the outbreak of this Chinese coronavirus.
The moderator can also give a PowerPoint presentation, or share their
desktop screen, or show a live stream camera view. The microphones of
other participants can be opened up individually or altogether in addition
to text input for questions and answers and links. So, it could be used
easily for online workshops as well.
Best,
Kevin
