This is an E-mail to all members of NFB-Idaho.

I am closely following this project with NFB! The BANA (Braille Authority
of North America) standards for tactile images apply mostly to graphs and
charts that we find in science, math, engineering, statistics, accounting,
and the like. There are only fuzzy standards for the kinds of tactile
images Getty will be trying to create.

For that reason, I am very interested in how well tactile readers interpret
the tactile images Getty will be creating. Please add your suggestions so
we can better learn how to create useful tactile images.

Best,

_don 😷
