My email box is humming today. Our more experienced members are ahead in the
count, so newer members need to sign up. If you know someone who is not on
the list or needs some encouragement, please reach out to that person. Thank
you.

Subject: national legislative training session planned for November 8th,
7:00 Mountain, 6:00 Pacific time

Jeff Kaloc, Government Affairs specialist in our national office, will be
providing training on our national legislative issues including best
practices when contacting our members of congress. Working to pass our
national initiatives is an integral part of what we do as members of the
National Federation of the Blind, and it takes all of us to accomplish this
work. As your state president, I strongly encourage all of our Idaho
membership to attend this training session. I particularly encourage newer
members and those who have been hesitant to get involved in our legislative
efforts to attend. I would like those who plan to attend to email me to let
me know you will be in attendance. Remember all of us working together can
accomplish much. I look forward to having my email box filled with your
"yes" to attend this training. My email is pres.nfbidaho at gmail.com. I will
send the zoom link out to the listserv closer to the time of the event. I
hope to see you all on the 8th of November at 7:00 Mountain and 6:00 Pacific
time.
