Nothing has changed on nfbnet.org so I suspect you were on a different site,
for some reason.

That same thing has happened to me and after googling the problem and trying
some of the suggestions, I just downloaded google chrome, uninstalled it and
then installed it again.  I found it to be the easiest way to resolve the
problem.
