There is no reason for our reps not to sponsor this. They go on recess for Memorial day this weekend. Please call or email.

Subject: Continued Help Needed with Cosponsors for Medical Device Nonvisual Accessibility Act, H.R. 1328

Dear Dana:

We greatly appreciate the hard work you and your affiliate have dedicated to our legislative priorities during the 118th Congress. Because of your hard work, the Medical Device Nonvisual Accessibility Act was introduced on March 1 with 32 initial cosponsors. In about six weeks following the introduction, we gained 16 more bringing the current count up to 48. The fight is not yet won though. So we need to keep up the pressure on our members of the House of Representatives.

Please keep asking your Representatives to cosponsor H.R. 1328 and when making the request, please have your Representatives contact Kate Durkin from Representative Schakowsky’s office at kate.durkin at mail.house.gov <mailto:kate.durkin at mail.house.gov> to cosponsor this important bill for blind Americans.

We greatly appreciate your hard efforts and the work you do to help pass the legislative priorities of the National Federation of the Blind! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 410-659-9314, ext. 2210 or jyoung at nfb.org <mailto:jyoung at nfb.org> .

Thanks,
