[NFB-Idaho] US Census Bureau changes that could affect people with disabilities.

A few weeks ago I alerted this list about the US Census Bureau considering
changing how it counts people with disabilities. The proposed questions
would have reduced people identified as having disabilities by as much as
50%.

I just got word from Sociologist friends who keep track of these things,
that over 12,000 people with disabilities and their allies posted public
comments opposing the change.

Today, the Census Bureau announced that the Census questions would not
change.
