Participants
Marcy, Deanna, and Crystal have offered to participate.
Deanna and Crystal are available to film together on Monday mornings at the park.

Hello all, I created a social media post that can be copied and shared. I sent this to Shane this morning and asked him to distribute it. Also let him know that we would make a new post every 10 days or so with updated information or details as we have them for people to also share on their social media if they want to. I will attach a word document to this email with the post I sent to Shane for you all to share if you would like to get a jump on it. I will also just add the text below.

Subject: RE: Notes from the WCD committee meeting
Would it be possible to have Shane send someone at the ATC the t-shirt link along with a short blurb about what it’s for and that all proceeds go to the Idaho chapter of the NFB?
Something along these lines could work:
“To raise awareness for White Cane Day in October, the NFB has created a t-shirt that people can buy to celebrate the day and support the Idaho chapter of the NFB. Please follow the link provided to purchase a shirt, sweatshirt, hat, or hoodie, and join us for a White Cane Day event—more details to come!”
Short and sweet is ideal. Feel free to adjust the wording as you all see fit. We just need to get the link circulating as soon as possible, and the ATC seems like a good place to start. If someone could connect with Shane in the next day or two, that would be really helpful.
Krystal, since you mentioned you were looking for something to take on, would you be able to reach out to the folks at NWABA, the VA group of Veterans with visual impairments, Sam Picciano at Vision Village, and anyone else who comes to mind? Happy to share the few contacts I have if that would help.
My goal is to keep our online meetings tightly focused on the agenda, so I’d really appreciate it if we can use this email chain for any ideas, questions, comments, or concerns that aren’t directly related to what we’re working on in the moment.
Thank you all for stepping up to make this happen, it is going to be a great event and I am so excited to partner with the NFB on this endeavor!
