You can use it to do the obvious things like scramble eggs, but it does a great job mashing up boiled potatoes or sweet potatoes and the like and you can also use it to mix batter. I love that whisk and use it often. Maybe the Pampered Chef host, her name escapes me at the moment, would know if in fact it is still available.

Happy cooking,

Charlene

From: NFB-InTheKitchen <nfb-inthekitchen-bounces@nfbnet.org> On Behalf Of David Andrews
Sent: Saturday, May 18, 2024 11:45 AM
To: NFB In The Kitchen <nfb-inthekitchen@nfbnet.org>
Subject: Re: [NFB-InTheKitchen] Opportunity to Get Pampered Chef Stuff

Thanks!

Dave

At 09:40 PM 5/17/2024, you wrote:

Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
boundary="----=_NextPart_000_00D9_01DAA8AB.300C5700"
Content-Language: en-us

Hmm, it’s hard to explain… it’s sort of like two small plates connected with a hinge. It opens like a clam shell. You open the unit, put your bagel on the bottom half, close it and then slide the knife between the two plates and cut the bagel. When the knife gets to the hinge, it stops and you know you’re done.

So back to the plates. They’re not really plates but thicker plastic with a spring loaded inner portion. So when you place the bagel on the spring-loaded portion, and close the unit (the top half also has a spring-loaded portion) the bagel gets clamped into place and the two “plates” can then be closed. When you slice the bagel. You hold down the top plate and the bagel stays in place so it will cut the bagel equally.

From: NFB-InTheKitchen <nfb-inthekitchen-bounces@nfbnet.org> On Behalf Of David Andrews
Sent: Friday, May 17, 2024 7:50 PM
To: NFB In The Kitchen <nfb-inthekitchen@nfbnet.org>
Subject: Re: [NFB-InTheKitchen] Opportunity to Get Pampered Chef Stuff

Thanks for the items.
