I admit they are a bit hard to unfold, but if you are unfolding them all
the way, I have never had them collapse on me.  When opening, make sure
they lock in the open position.

I have a couple of those folding scissors that they were selling at
convention. I find they do fold into a nice little shape, but when I
unfold it and try to cut, the scissor keeps collapsing. There is no way
to lock it to keep the blades from sliding back into the rings.
Anyone else have this problem?

As for other scissors, my mother buys these little sewing scissors
somewhere -- I'll go ask her where -- and they cut very well. They are
just mini scissors with a sharp blade and blunt end -- no sharp point.
It is only about 3 or 4 inches long.
I use it all the time and carry it with me instead of the folding
scissors.
