The topic of scissors have been interesting, but I was taught many years
back that you need different tools for different jobs. Just like you really
need a Philip head screw driver for a screw. You can use a regular screw
driver, but it is much easier to accomplidsh the job with a Philip Head screw
driver.

The same is using scissors. You can find an array of scissors on the market
today and that is for a reason beside costing you money. I was taught that
you use certain scissors for certain jobs and you do not use 1 pair of
scissors for everything.

If you use those folding scissors for cutting thread, yarn and small jobs
like that, you should not use them for cutting plastic.

If you have a pair of dressmaker scissors that you cut fabric with you
should not use them for cutting paper, cardboard , etc.

If you have a pair of cuticle scissors you should not use them to cut your
coupons out of the paper.

Various uses will only make the scissors unusable for the purposes they were
created for.

So give this a thought when you pick up a pair of scissors the next time.
