love it -- now could I ask a question to further challenge the creativity on
the list:
I bought some items from lacrafts.com (I think that was the name) and was
not going to, but saw these stirofoam balls on sale and thought I could do
something fun for Christmas. Now I'm sitting here amid a small basket of
stirofoam balls wondering why I ordered them... (I feel like a kid in a
candy store when buying crafty things, but usually limit myself to things I
actually plan to use...)
Does anyone have any thoughts of an easy craft using 3 inch balls? I only
bought the one size. I want to avoid spray paint, but glue and pins and
tissue paper are acceptable. I'm out of ideas.
Anyone want some stirofoam balls for a good price??? j/k
TIA and happy crafting.

I've recently discovered a new medium to work with. I'm sure it's been out
there for a while, in fact, given the fact that I found it in the kid's
crafting section, it's probably been around forever. Anyway, I've started
making Christmas decorations our of sheets of foam rubber. You can cut it
nicely and it really can be a nice creative medium. I got several Christmas
themed sets that have pre-cut Christmas shapes such as snowmen, Christmas
trees, bows, gifts and even penguins for some odd reason. These are made
into stickers, so you can just peel off the back and slap them on your
project. I also have enough foam alphabet stickers to last a century!
Oh, and if you get the alphabet stickers, keep the little dots that fill in
the letters with the back attached, they make grate little dots for marking
things.
I got 2 spools of thread, one silver, the other gold and marked the inside
of one of the spools with a foam dot.
I also got some glitter glue, haven't played with that yet and the old
standby, tacky glue, never leave home without it!
I got all this at walmart.
