[Nfb-krafters-korner] fun with foam

Why beads?  They make push pins that have a rounded end like a bead.
That is what I ment in my e-mail about writing braille.

you can do the old stand by of putting straight pins through a bead and
sticking them in the ball to cover them. just make sure the bead holes
are small enough not to let the pin go through.
