I have never added these things in my soaps before,, but I read someplace  
that you use a spray bottle of water to get rid of bubbles.  My guess is  that 
bubbles might appear more so when you add these other types of things to  the 
soaps.  I can understand the possibility of air being trapped with  these type 
of items added.
