Cindy:

I think its redundant to list the actual titles of books that NLS has since
all the necessary information can be found on the NLS web site. Besides,
their collection is always changing & growing. Perhaps what would be more
helpful would be a listing of places where resource information/books can be
borrowed or purchased, and a list of the major craft groups and then
associated words/terms that can assist in a search? For example, the major
craft group of "Wood Working," and then a list of terms like carving, wood,
tools, building, carpentry, etc.

Personally, I don't like listing books that get the "blind" stamp of
approval. Who's to say what book is good for blind people. We are all at
different levels and what one book says in one way and one person will
understand, it may be phrased differently in another book that someone else
can relate to and get something out of it. I think the important thing is
to let people know that there is materials around which they may find useful
in pursuing a hobby.

Thanks for asking.

HTH.
Eileen
