Carol, I am with you. I like to tell others I am leaving. Sometimes there
are those last minute things people want to say to you. So I try always to
say something before I leave. I think once on the conference the phone just
died and I still do not know why. I felt so rude to just drop off like
that.
Big hugs and great question!
Becky and my joy wheels

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] question about etiquette
Hello all, I have a question about etiquette on a chat or
conference call. What is the polite way to hang up? If the main
topic of discussion is over and people are having a friendly
discussion is it better to hang up without saying goodbye, or is
it better to interrupt the discussion to let them know you are
going to hang up? I don't want to be rude and not say goodbye but
I feel like I am breaking up the party if I say I have to go.
What is your opinion?
Carol
