Both daughter-in laws are getting ponchos.  Barbie's is pink, since that is
her favorite color.  Erin's is pell shades of tans and greens and browns.
She tends towards the earth colors. Barbie's is kind of wild, as wild as one
can be with pink that is, lol, as hers has big bold diamonds.  Think of a
granny square afgan, but made into a poncho.  She likes the off beat and I
really love how it turned out. Both ponchos are very feminine as the girls
are personality wise. I made my mom a scarf with very delicate yarn.  The
yarn has a light tan background with threds of red, green, rust thrown into
the yarn randomly.  It came out fabulously. I also am trying slippers.  So I
made her a variegated pair.  I am just not happy yet with my slippers, so I
need to keep working at them.  Still these turned out passable. My sister is
getting a throw in tans and browns accented with green and deep red. My
sister knows the gift will be late.  Her gift to me is always late, giggle.
So hey Christmas all year! Woo Hoo!
