Hi everyone,
We had a nice time on the chat last night. We had Eileen, Carol Osmar and myself. For a couple of minutes, we had a new person join us named Mary. She asked about taking classes and how to get more information on networking with other blind and visually impaired crafters. We told her to visit the web site and to contact Joyce with any questions. We encouraged her to join this email list too.

Carol discussed how she is using the Pen Friend. She plans to use it to mark and identify her yarn. Both Carol and Eileen discussed the hairpin lace class and the difficulties Carol is having signing up for the class. Hopefully the advice Eileen gave her will help. Eileen and I discussed guide dogs and a couple of different schools. Eileen and Carol talked about looms that they have. Carol has an Indian loom that she received as a Christmas gift. Eileen has a beading loom that she described. They discussed the loom that is used for the hairpin lace.

As always, it was an interesting and informative conference call and we hope more of you can join us next week.

Take care,

Lucy
