Some cameras do have the ability to record a memo with each picture directly
from the camera. My high powered camera has that feature but I'll have to
check the manual on the easy share model.

Typically, the on camera memo would be limited in size so you would only
want to say a general bit about the picture to jog your memory when you
returned home.

A new feature that I am seeing is the ability to have a gps locator attached
to the photo. You could go on vacation, take all of your pictures, and
return home. Then you would have a gps coordinate that you could plug into
the computer know where your pictures were taken. I don't know a lot about
this feature yet, but plan on investigating at a later date.

I also have a photo software that allows you to make digital photo albums
(and other things) and it has a feature for recording a memo to go along
with each picture. I discovered this the other day so I can't provide a lot
of information yet.
