I like the supply idea, too.  I know nothing about buying on line.
I like to feal the texture of what I am buying, but after I learn some
craft terms, I can learn to buy on line.  Maybe put the original craft
terms list on the list.  Maybe one for beading and one for knitting....
There is not much to offer for plastic canvis as far as terms.  I do not
know things by stitch name.  I do have a book on stitching.  I think it
is for cross stitch and I have expanded it.  A friend tought me a stitch
from the book and I expanded it and used double yarn and invented the
diamond design I have on some slate cases and eye glass cases.  Joyce,
you have a sample of an eye glass case, in your pictures.

I'd like to see a listing of known crafts that blind people in the group
are known to do successfully, links to sites that sell items that will
help assist specifically a blind craftsperson & links to places where
accessible books/information can be located on the specified craft.  If
an actual pattern(s) is posted, I think then they should be patterns
written by the people in the group and on the site, like any other site
that gives free patterns copyrights to both the designer & NFB are
stated.  Remember, you can't post a pattern without express permission
of designers/publishers, otherwise it is copyright violation.  You can
provide links that anyone can go and get the necessary information.  

As for other links, perhaps on a separate page (if possible, good
sources for purchasing supplies).
