Hi Valerie, I'm sorry I can't help you with the hat.  The 
instructions we received didn't go that far into the project.
However, I did figure out the ladder stitch bracelet, so I would 
be happy to help you with that if you need it.

I miss Laurie and hope everything works out for her soon.
