Garterlac is the same style of knitting small section at a time, but you
knit every row.  There is no purling.  

I did not want to have a right and wrong side to the blanket, so decided to
use the garterlac technique.  But I have to say, I do like enterlac better
since I learned to purl back backwards.  For this garterlac project I
learned to knit back backwards, but it is not doing anything for me.  I'd
rather do traditional purling.

Now I have heard of Entrelac, but what is Garterlac ?
