Hi everyone,
 
I was waiting on the phone conference this evening for everyone, but no
one showed up.  Actually, I bounced in and out of there a couple of
times.
 
I have some news to share with all my great crafting friends.
 
I went for a job interview at Joann's Fabric today for the position of
knitting and crocheting instructor.  I brought some of my things that I
have done and I am very happy to tell you, I got the job!
 
So see the experience I had here with our teaching classes and my life
time of enjoying my knitting and crocheting gave me the confidence  to
go out  for this job.  I was asked  during the interview how I would go
about  teaching the class.  I told them that I am very good with verbal
descriptions of what my hands are doing and I would ask the folks to
come up and  watch what I was doing.  I then told her I would have them
go back and give  it a try.  I would roam around the room to check how
folks were doing and  if they had any trouble I would touch their work
and help them out.
 
She must have liked my samples and what I had to say.  I need to get  my
schedule in for June, July and August classes to her by March 27.  She
will schedule the April and May classes in as add ons to the schedule.
