[Nfb-krafters-korner] Has anyone knitted Socks?

Socks are one knitted item I've never made, but want to try. I requested 2
sock books from Nls which they did do, so one of these days I need to select
a pattern & yarn and get myself to trying them out. If you're interested,
NlS has "Sensational Knitted Socks" by Charlene Schurch & "Folk Socks" by
Ann Bud. Ithink those are the correct titles & spellings.
I'm most afraid of the heel turning & shapings.
