I have hand knitted socks and I have an antique circular sock machine that
I have cranked out socks on too.

Socks are not a big deal, but I hate with a passion that darn kitchener
stitch on the toes.

So to eliminate that sewing of the toes together I have come up with my own
way of doing the toes! I don't have any trouble turning the heals. Socks
are definitely not for ones that just learned to knit.

If you would be interested maybe I can do a sock class. I do have a pattern
that I have done that works up fast and makes real thick socks. I even know
where the pattern is and you use size 11 double pointed needles to do them.
I have done them for my Mom to keep her feet warm in bed.

Let me check on dates and I will let you know.

I have to lookup the yarn name that I used to make the socks.

Of course I have made socks on size 3 needles, too. I might try a size 2
needle, but the size 3 are much better for my hands. I use a size 3 12 inch
circular needle to do my regular socks that I use sock yarn to make. That is a
size 3 Abby Turbo 12 inche circular needle. You need to purchase them
online or order them in a yarn shop. You can't find them in the regular craft
type stores.
